Librarian for a Private School in Hawalli, Kuwait


We are in search of a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team at a prestigious private school in Hawalli, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be from Pakistan and have excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the school library, ensuring a clean and inviting space for students to study and access resources
- Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and other resources
- Assist students with locating and accessing materials for research projects or personal interests
- Teach students how to effectively use library resources and technology
- Develop and implement library programs that promote reading and literacy among students
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs through library resources
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in children's literature and educational technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Librarian in an educational setting
- Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and classification techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others
