PHP Developer


We are a fast-growing company in the heart of St. Petersburg and we are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our PHP-based web applications, ensuring their high performance and responsiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, code and test new features and enhancements, as well as troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony, and a passion for creating efficient and user-friendly web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using PHP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and test new features
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in the web development field

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PHP development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is preferred
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL) and version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
