Barista for Busy Café in Al-Rayyan, Qatar


We are a bustling café in the vibrant city of Al-Rayyan, Qatar looking to hire a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about coffee and has excellent customer service skills. This job is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and juices
- Explain menu items to customers, make recommendations based on their preferences
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system
- Ensure drinks are prepared according to company standards
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and handling any inquiries or complaints promptly
- Process payments using cash or credit card transactions
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food and drinks

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is an asset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must have a valid biometric passport
- Preference for Indian nationals

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.
