Executive Chef for High-End Restaurant in Moscow
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end restaurant in Moscow. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation and presentation, and managing the kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a high-quality menu that meets the restaurant's standards and reflects current food trends
- Manage inventory and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
- Collaborate with management to create specials and promotions to attract customers
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations
- Oversee purchasing of kitchen equipment and supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with management teams
- Creative thinking with an eye for detail to create visually appealing dishes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
