Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Chelyabinsk. Your primary role will be to ensure that these structures are maintained and protected for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their condition and identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Develop preservation plans that address structural issues, deterioration, and other potential risks while also considering the historical significance of the building
- Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and other professionals to oversee preservation projects from start to finish
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects and make necessary adjustments to ensure they are completed according to schedule and budget
- Conduct research on historical buildings and their architectural styles to inform preservation decisions
- Communicate with local government agencies, historic societies, and other stakeholders regarding preservation efforts
- Document all preservation work through detailed reports, drawings, photographs, and other methods as necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Knowledge of architectural history, building materials, construction techniques, and conservation principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Excellent communication skills for working with various stakeholders
- Experience in historic preservation is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at 1300$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Chelyabinsk. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Russia without sponsorship.
