Turner Technician - Split, Croatia



We are seeking an experienced Turner Technician to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a Turner Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools to produce precision metal parts. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual and computer-controlled machine tools to perform precision turning operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Make adjustments as necessary to maintain tight tolerances
- Inspect finished parts for defects and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance tasks and keeping work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner Technician or similar role
- Proficient in operating various machine tools such as lathes, drills, mills, grinders, etc.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
