Part-Time Librarian in St. Petersburg, Russia


We are seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with various library tasks such as shelving books, organizing materials, and providing assistance to library patrons. This position is ideal for someone without prior experience in a library setting who is looking to gain valuable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with shelving books and organizing materials according to the library's system
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting patrons with finding materials
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the library space
- Help with cataloging new materials and updating existing records
- Support library events and programs as needed

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Russian (written and spoken)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends on a part-time schedule

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Prior experience working in a library setting or customer service role
- Familiarity with cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification
