Android Developer



We are looking for a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our team in Shan, China. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues related to application performance and stability

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform
- Proficient in Java programming language
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and caching mechanisms
- Understanding of Google's Material Design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
