Moderator for Online Community (Shan)
As a Moderator for our online community in Shan, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and growth of our platform. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for our users, while also enforcing community guidelines and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure it aligns with community guidelines
- Engage with users through comments, messages, and other forms of communication to build relationships and encourage active participation
- Respond to user inquiries, feedback, and reports in a timely and professional manner
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and take appropriate action to resolve them
- Regularly review user behavior data to identify trends and provide insights on improving community engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for growing and sustaining the community
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Shan culture, language, customs, and current events
- Previous experience in community management or moderation preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
- Passionate about creating a positive online environment for users
Salary:
Starting salary for this full-time position is 1600$, with potential for growth based on performance.
Location:
This is an onsite position located in Shan. Candidates from other regions are welcome to apply but must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
