Part-time Moderator
The Shan News Agency is seeking a part-time moderator to join our team in Shan, Myanmar. This is an urgent position and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

As a moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing online discussions and comments on our news platform. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with readers and ensuring that our platform maintains a positive and respectful environment.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Previous experience in moderating online discussions or managing social media platforms is preferred. The ability to speak and write in both English and Burmese is also required.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for students or individuals looking to supplement their income. As this job does not require a work visa, it is open to candidates of any nationality who have the right to work in Myanmar.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate online discussions on our news platform
- Engage with readers in a professional and respectful manner
- Ensure that all content posted on the platform follows community guidelines
- Report any inappropriate content or comments
- Communicate with the editorial team regarding any issues or concerns
- Help maintain a positive online community
- Keep up-to-date with current events and news related to Shan State

Requirements:

Salary:
The salary for this part-time position will be 900$ per month.
