Heavy Equipment Operator
A heavy equipment operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. They are typically employed in construction or mining industries, and their main task is to move earth, materials, and other heavy objects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery according to safety regulations and standard procedures
- Read and interpret construction plans or diagrams
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor and maintain fuel levels, oil levels, and other necessary fluids
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Load and unload materials using the equipment's bucket or other attachments
- Use hand tools to make minor repairs on equipment as needed
- Keep a detailed record of daily activities, including hours worked, tasks completed, and any issues or incidents that arise
- Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself, fellow workers, and the equipment from accidents or damage
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a heavy equipment operator in a similar environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans or diagrams
- Knowledge of basic mechanics for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time
- Attention to detail for precise movements of the equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Requirements:
-Specialized training or certification in operating specific types of heavy machinery
-Familiarity with GPS systems for precision operation
Salary: $900 per month
Location: Shan (preference for local candidates)
