Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in Shan, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations and maintaining the high standards of food quality and presentation. Your main goal will be to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests and ensure that our restaurant is known for its delicious cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that showcase unique and creative dishes
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a professional and efficient work environment
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are being followed at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Continuously monitor food quality and presentation to meet our standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members from different departments
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Food safety certification
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
