Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our high-end restaurant in Shan, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering exceptional food and service. You will be in charge of creating menus, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
To excel in this role, you must have proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment. You should possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments. A creative mindset with a passion for culinary trends and techniques is essential. A degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that align with the restaurant's concept and target audience
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking methods, portion control, and plating techniques
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes served
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed while adhering to budgetary guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment following food safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
- Creativity in menu development with knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
