Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager


We are in search of an ambitious and skilled Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Eschen, Austria. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. Your main responsibilities will include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Train and supervise new employees, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards
- Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the restaurant
- Assist with marketing efforts by implementing promotions or events to attract new customers

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Fluency in German is required; fluency in English is a plus

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month with accommodation provided. As an Austrian national preference for this position is given to candidates who hold Austrian citizenship or have the right to work in Austria.
