Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Mauren. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications. Your primary focus will be the development of high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient applications that meet our clients' needs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality for our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android development best practices and experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages. Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with at least 2 years of working experience
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Understanding of mobile application design principles, patterns, tools, and best practices
- Excellent debugging skills to troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
