Junior Information Security Analyst


We are seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Mauren. As a member of our information security team, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's sensitive data and systems from cyber threats. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events, identify potential threats, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security controls, policies, and procedures
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the company's information security posture remains strong
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, etc.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH or CISSP
- Experience working in an information security role or internship
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies and their impact on information security
