Experienced Glazier in Mauren



As an experienced Glazier in Mauren, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures such as residential and commercial buildings, vehicles, and furniture. Your main duties will include cutting and shaping glass, removing old glass, measuring and preparing surfaces for installation, and sealing joints to prevent leaks. You will also be required to work with a variety of materials such as glass, plexiglass, and mirrors.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience as a Glazier and possess strong technical skills. You should also have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good physical fitness is essential as this job involves heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Install new glass or replace broken/damaged glass
- Cut and shape glass according to specifications
- Remove old or damaged glass using hand tools or power tools
- Measure surfaces accurately for proper fitment
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning or applying putty/adhesives
- Operate equipment such as drills, saws, grinders etc.
- Seal joints using silicon/putty to prevent leaks
- Repair chips or cracks in existing glass
- Work from scaffolding/ladders at varying heights
- Comply with safety rules and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Glazier
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read blueprints/drawings
- Knowledge of different types of glass/mirrors and their properties
- Ability to use hand/power tools effectively
- Excellent measurement skills with precision
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime. You will be working mainly outdoors and may have to work in extreme weather conditions. Some tasks may require working at heights or in confined spaces. Safety gear will be provided by the company.

Salary:
As an experienced Glazier in Mauren, you can expect a salary of $1200 per month, depending on your skills and experience. We also offer health insurance and paid time off.
