Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our restaurant in Mauren, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection. You will lead a team of talented chefs and cooks, creating new menus and recipes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and dietary restrictions
- Oversee all kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipe standards and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies without compromising on quality
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and communicate with customers
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required.
Salary:
$1600 per month
