Contract Interpreter


We are in need of a skilled and fluent Contract Interpreter to join our team in Shan, providing language translation services for various clients. As a contract interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting verbal and written communication between two or more parties. This role requires clear communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to think quickly on your feet.

Responsibilities:
- Act as an intermediary between individuals or groups who do not speak the same language
- Interpret conversations, meetings, conferences, and other events in real-time
- Provide accurate and precise translations of written documents
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and appropriate tone in all interpretations
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations

Requirements:
- Fluent in at least two languages including English
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and accurately
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when interpreting for diverse individuals or groups
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain impartial in all situations
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required

Salary:
As a contract interpreter, you will be paid a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Shan. However, due to the nature of the job, we are open to candidates from other cities as well.
