Job Title: Database Administrator
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of our company's databases. Your main objective will be to ensure the security, availability, and performance of our databases to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems according to business needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Develop and implement data policies and procedures to maintain data integrity
- Work with developers to optimize application performance on databases
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or related role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with database design, development, and maintenance
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Location: Triesen, Liechtenstein (remote work may be considered)
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract type: Full-time contract position with possibility for extension or permanent employment.
