Typesetter

Our publishing company is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Triesen. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in various typesetting software programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress.

Responsibilities:
- Format and layout text, images, and other elements for print and digital publications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in all materials
- Proofread final layouts for errors or inconsistencies
- Make necessary revisions based on feedback from team members
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting software
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the typesetting process

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, and other typesetting software programs
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to catch errors or inconsistencies quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from others
- Familiarity with printing processes and specifications for various types of publications
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and timelines
