Typesetter for Book Publishing Company in Triesen



We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our book publishing company located in Triesen. As a Typesetter, you will play a crucial role in the production of books and other printed materials. Your primary responsibility will be to arrange text and images into a visually appealing layout that is both attractive and easy to read.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use typesetting software to format text and images
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and font usage for consistency
- Incorporate design elements such as headings, subheadings, and images
- Make adjustments as needed based on editor or author feedback
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and printers to ensure high-quality end products
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory
- Excellent attention to detail with an eye for visual aesthetics
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Prior experience in book publishing or print production
- Familiarity with multiple languages
- Knowledge of different book formats (e.g. hardcover, paperback)

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Triesen (open to remote work for exceptional candidates)
