Job Title: Executive Chef
We are a reputable restaurant in Triesen, seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and previous experience as an Executive Chef. This position requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create new menu items and oversee menu development
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with restaurant management to plan events and special menus
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Creativity in developing new dishes and menus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
Education/Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional kitchen environment
Salary:
Starting salary of 1500$ per month.
Visa Requirements:
Applicants must have their own visa that allows them to work in Triesen.
