Pastry Chef - Triesen, Liechtenstein
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Triesen, Liechtenstein. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually stunning desserts to delight our guests' palates. You will work closely with the head chef to develop seasonal menus and incorporate locally-sourced ingredients into your pastry creations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute dessert menus in collaboration with the head chef
- Create visually appealing and delicious desserts that meet the restaurant's high standards
- Ensure all desserts are prepared and presented according to recipe specifications
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, ordering as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff in proper techniques and recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve dessert offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Formal culinary training from an accredited institution is preferred
- Creative flair and passion for pastry arts, with an eye for detail
- Strong knowledge of various baking techniques, including decorating skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead a team while also being a team player
