Computer Research Scientist


A computer research scientist is responsible for conducting research, developing and improving computer systems and software. They work with a team to design, develop and test new technologies to solve complex mathematical, scientific or engineering problems. The ideal candidate should have experience with biometric passport technology and be able to work in Balzers.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research in the field of computer science, specifically focused on biometric passport technology
- Designing, developing and testing new software applications and systems
- Collaborating with a team of engineers, mathematicians and scientists to solve complex problems
- Analyzing data and creating algorithms to improve existing systems
- Identifying potential issues or improvements in current technologies and proposing solutions
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer science and incorporating them into research projects
- Writing technical reports, papers or presentations to communicate findings and progress of research projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in computer science research
- Experience with biometric passport technology is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems using mathematical concepts
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++ or Python
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Location: This position is located in Balzers but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Salary: The salary for this position starts at 1300$ per month but may vary depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits such as health insurance, vacation time, and retirement contributions may also be offered.
