Facade Technician/Installer

As a Facade Technician/Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of building facades in Balzers. This includes working with various materials such as glass, metal, and stone to create aesthetically pleasing and functional facades for commercial and residential buildings.

Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials to size, assembling and installing panels, frames, and supports, sealing joints to prevent water leakage, and performing routine maintenance on existing facades. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during the installation process.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of building construction methods, as well as experience working with facade materials. You must also possess excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength to handle heavy materials and equipment. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to ensure precise measurements and proper installation.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Additional education or training in construction or a related field is preferred. Previous experience as a facade technician or installer is highly desirable.

This is a physically demanding role that may require working at heights and in varying weather conditions. Therefore, candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and have the ability to follow safety protocols at all times.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for candidates who are reliable, team-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. As you will be working on projects with other technicians/installers, the ability to collaborate effectively is essential.

This position offers a salary of $900 per month plus benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. Working hours may vary depending on project deadlines but are typically Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.
