Preservation Architect


A leading architectural firm in Balzers is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preserving historical buildings and structures, and the ability to combine modern design with traditional elements. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for renovation or restoration projects
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation techniques are properly implemented
- Review building plans and make recommendations for preserving historical elements while incorporating modern functionality
- Inspect buildings and structures to assess their condition and determine the best course of action for preservation
- Prepare detailed reports on the history, condition, and preservation recommendations for each project
- Stay current on industry trends, advancements in preservation techniques, and any changes in local or national regulations related to historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in historic preservation, preferably with a focus on architectural conservation
- Extensive knowledge of architectural styles, building materials, construction methods, and historic research methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict budget and timeline constraints
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings to clients
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other relevant software
