Preservation Architect (Balzers, Liechtenstein)



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their structural integrity and historical significance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop detailed preservation plans and oversee their execution, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural stability of historic buildings
- Research the historical significance of buildings and incorporate this knowledge into preservation plans
- Utilize advanced technology such as 3D modeling to assist in the preservation process
- Monitor progress of projects and maintain accurate records of work completed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture, preferably with historic buildings
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and guidelines related to historic preservation
- Extensive knowledge of materials used in historic construction and methods for their preservation/restoration
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or Revit

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full time position. Additional benefits include health insurance coverage.
