Preservation Architect - Contract Position (Balzers, Liechtenstein)


Our architectural firm is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city, ensuring their longevity and integrity. This is an urgent position that requires candidates to have experience in preservation architecture and hold a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans that comply with local regulations and guidelines
- Supervise restoration projects, including managing budgets, timelines, and teams of contractors
- Work closely with clients to ensure their vision for the building is preserved while maintaining its historical integrity
- Conduct research on the history of buildings and use this knowledge to inform restoration decisions
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and construction professionals to achieve successful preservation outcomes

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in preservation architecture or a related field
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or historic preservation
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This role is located in Balzers, Liechtenstein. Candidates must be able to work legally in this location.
