Head Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, and managing the kitchen staff. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional dining experiences for guests
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Creative flair for developing new dishes while also maintaining traditional favorites
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Fluent in English (German or French proficiency is a plus)
