Executive Chef
Our 5-star restaurant in Balzers is seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food and creativity, along with excellent leadership and organizational skills. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Monitor inventory and control food costs to maximize profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and promotions
- Continuously research new trends in the culinary industry to enhance our menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Experience in menu development, costing, and inventory management
- Proven track record of managing a team effectively and maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for guests
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Balzers (relocation assistance available)
