Plumber Technician



As a Plumber Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duty will be to ensure that the water supply and drainage systems are functioning properly.

You will work with a team of skilled plumbers to complete various projects, including new construction, renovations, and repairs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills as you will need to troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations or repairs.

Your responsibilities will include reading blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of plumbing systems, cutting, bending, and threading pipes using hand or power tools, and installing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers. You may also need to repair or replace damaged pipes or fixtures.

To be successful in this role, you must have good physical stamina as it involves working in tight spaces and carrying heavy equipment. You must also have excellent communication skills as you will need to communicate with clients and other team members effectively.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in plumbing is preferred but not required
- Physical fitness and ability to work in different environments (e.g., confined spaces)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
