Entry-Level Librarian

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Librarian in Ufa, Russia. As an Entry-Level Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of library materials and resources, as well as providing excellent customer service to library patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloging and classifying library materials using appropriate systems.
- Help maintain the organization and shelving of library materials.
- Provide assistance to library patrons in finding and accessing materials.
- Conduct basic reference interviews to determine patrons' information needs.
- Assist with circulation tasks, including checking books in/out and processing holds.
- Monitor and maintain the appearance of the library, including shelves, displays, and study areas.
- Participate in library programs and events for all ages.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of basic cataloging principles and classification systems.
- Proficiency in using technology, including computers, databases, and online resources.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.
