Excavator Operator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Clairvaux. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials. You will also be required to perform routine maintenance on the equipment and ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials
- Follow project plans and blueprints to determine job specifications
- Inspect equipment before each use and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Ensure safe operation of equipment at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate work tasks
- Complete daily logs and reports of work performed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Continuously monitor site conditions and adjust operations as needed
- Troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or issues that arise

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read project plans and blueprints
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience working on construction sites
- Knowledge of local geography
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1700 per month, with the potential for bonuses based on performance.
