Blast Furnace Operator
As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the blast furnace process to produce iron or steel. This includes charging the furnace with raw materials, adjusting the temperature and pressure, and monitoring the flow of molten metal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace process.
- Charge the furnace with raw materials such as iron ore, coke, and limestone.
- Adjust temperature, pressure, and flow of air to maintain proper conditions for production.
- Monitor operation of equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient production.
- Collect samples of molten metal for analysis.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Report any malfunctions or abnormalities to supervisor.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience as a blast furnace worker or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a hot environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Working Conditions:
This is a physically demanding role that involves working in a hot environment. You will be required to wear protective gear such as heat-resistant clothing, gloves, and goggles. The work schedule may involve rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary:
The starting salary for this position is 1800$ per month. Accommodation will be provided along with free visa and ticket.
Location:
This position is located in Zagreb but may require occasional travel within the country for training or meetings.

Nationality or location preference is not a strict requirement but candidates must be legally authorized to work in Zagreb.
