Executive Chef (African Cuisine)
As an Executive Chef specializing in African cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Your role will involve creating and executing menu offerings that showcase the diverse and rich flavors of African cuisine, while also ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that highlight authentic African dishes while also incorporating modern twists and techniques.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including sourcing ingredients, recipe development, and plating.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure fresh ingredients are always available for menu items.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions featuring African cuisine.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Chef specializing in African cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional African cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Experience creating menus for restaurants or events featuring African cuisine.
- Ability to lead a team and effectively communicate instructions.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Salary:
Starting salary is 1200$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
