Merchandiser (Malayalee)

Our retail company is seeking a talented and motivated Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction. Your duties will include analyzing market trends, monitoring inventory levels, creating attractive displays, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure effective product placement.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills in English and be fluent in Malayalam. You must also have a solid understanding of customer behavior and be able to identify upcoming trends. A degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, along with at least 2 years of experience in merchandising. Experience in the retail industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and stay updated on industry trends
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with vendors for timely replenishment
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective product placement in stores
- Design attractive displays that draw attention to products
- Track sales performance and make adjustments as needed
- Train new employees on merchandising techniques and standards

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Malayalam
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- Strong understanding of customer behavior and market trends
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred
