Contract Librarian in Al-Malikiyah

We are hiring a Contract Librarian to join our team in Al-Malikiyah. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, assisting library patrons with finding and accessing materials, and promoting literacy and learning in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection by organizing, cataloging, and maintaining books, journals, and other materials
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing materials, answering reference questions, and providing research assistance
- Promote literacy and learning through planning and coordinating events such as book clubs, author talks, and workshops
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools to support their curriculum needs
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to integrate library resources into their programs
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in library science and implement new technologies or services as needed
- Create displays or exhibits to showcase new or notable materials in the library

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Knowledge of library cataloging systems and online databases
- Proficient in using technology for research purposes

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Al-Malikiyah. Visa sponsorship is available for international candidates.
