IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the information technology needs of our company based in Chelyabinsk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with a focus on maintaining and improving our network and systems infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security protocols to protect our data and systems. This is a contract position with accommodation provided and preference will be given to candidates with their own visa. Salary is $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our company's technology infrastructure
- Oversee a team of IT professionals, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect our data and systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology
- Manage relationships with external vendors for hardware, software, and support services
- Create and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and system configurations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, security protocols, and hardware/software systems
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to technology expenses
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:
- Experience working in a contract position or managing remote teams
- Knowledge of Russian language
