Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in Wiltz, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef who is passionate about creating delicious and visually appealing meals.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes that align with our brand image
- Manage food costs by implementing efficient cooking techniques and portion control measures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel as a chef or sous chef
- Proven ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive work environment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
