Indian Chef
We are hiring an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food standards. Your creativity and passion for cooking will be key in delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menu items and oversee the preparation of all Indian dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to plan seasonal menus and special promotions
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Proficient in preparing various Indian dishes, including vegetarian options
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Understanding of food costing, portion control, and inventory management
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1500$ per month, based on experience.
