Carpenter - Abu Dhabi, UAE



As a carpenter in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and other materials. You will work on a variety of projects including buildings, furniture, and other structures. Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares or marking gauges
- Select appropriate lumber or other materials needed for each project
- Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines or power saws
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Follow blueprints or building plans to meet client specifications
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Good knowledge of wood properties and other construction materials
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Physical dexterity and ability to work with hand tools safely
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $1700/month

This position does not require English proficiency but fluency in Arabic is preferred. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Accommodation can also be provided if necessary.
