Carpenter - Full Time
We are currently hiring for a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Jizan. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing various structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your main duties will include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in carpentry or related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their uses
- Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid own visa or work permit
- Good communication skills in English (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, or smooth wood using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, shelves using screws or nails
- Repair damaged furniture or structures by replacing parts or fixing joints
- Ensure accuracy of measurements and quality of work according to project standards
- Follow all safety procedures when working with tools or at heights
- Collaborate with team members such as contractors or engineers
