Part-time Administrative Assistant
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to our team by handling various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing paperwork.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and redirecting phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for team members
- Managing and organizing paperwork, including filing, scanning, and copying documents
- Assisting with data entry and maintaining accurate records of information
- Responding to emails and other correspondence in a timely manner
- Coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
- Performing general office tasks such as ordering supplies, keeping track of inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is a plus but not required
This position is ideal for freshers or students looking for part-time work that offers flexibility. The salary for this position is 1600$ per month. The role is located in Muscat but we are open to candidates of any nationality as long as they have the necessary work permit. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) with no accommodation provided.
