Head Pastry Chef

Our luxury boutique hotel in Dickirch is seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to oversee our pastry department. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu, as well as managing and training a team of pastry chefs. You will also work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure all pastries and desserts meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting
- Proven track record of creating innovative and visually stunning desserts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Knowledge of current pastry trends and techniques
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French or German is a plus)
- Must have valid work permit for Luxembourg

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute an enticing dessert menu that reflects the style of our hotel
- Train, supervise, and schedule pastry chefs to ensure efficient operation of the pastry department
- Ensure all pastries are prepared to high quality standards and presented beautifully
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for the pastry department
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning and special events
- Stay updated on current trends in pastries and desserts, bringing new ideas to the table
- Maintain clean and organized work stations according to health codes
- Attend regular meetings with other department heads to discuss operations
