Executive Chef (African Cuisine)
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team in El-Ain, Egypt. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu featuring authentic African cuisine. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute menu items that reflect the rich and diverse flavors of African cuisine
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure high quality food production
- Oversee all food preparation, cooking, and presentation processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Train new kitchen staff on menu items, techniques, and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of African cuisine including traditional cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working with African clientele or in a culturally diverse setting
