Reference Librarian


As a Reference Librarian in our bustling library located in the charming city of Vianden, you will be responsible for providing exceptional reference services to our diverse community of patrons. You will assist users in locating and utilizing library resources, including books, databases, and digital materials. Your knowledge of information literacy and research techniques will be essential as you assist patrons with their information needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with other librarians to develop and deliver library instruction programs to promote information literacy skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

To excel in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Library Science or Information Studies from an accredited institution. Previous experience working in a library setting and providing reference services is required. You must also have a strong understanding of library systems and technologies, including cataloging and classification systems.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment.

This position does not include accommodation; however, we do provide free visa sponsorship and round-trip tickets for our international employees.
