Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Ar-Ruwais, UAE)
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end Indian restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, UAE. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative and authentic Indian dishes while maintaining quality standards
- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and consistent food quality
- Control food costs by monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop menus that meet customer demands and trends
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or Urdu is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
