Restaurant Manager (Contract)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in the beautiful city of Nizwa. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a contract position, ideal for recent graduates looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and maintain cost efficiency
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service is provided at all times
- Create schedules and monitor employee performance to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with local health regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that appeal to customers and meet budgetary goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and maintaining cost efficiency
- Knowledge of local health regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
