Experienced Mason


We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our team in Muscat. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other similar materials. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine specifications and requirements.
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to plans.
- Measure and cut materials to required sizes using hand or power tools.
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas.
- Apply mortar or other adhesives to surfaces as needed.
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, levels, and other equipment.
- Repair cracks or chips in surfaces with proper materials.
- Install structures such as chimneys or fireplaces.
- Ensure that all work areas are clean and free of hazards.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, methods, and techniques used in masonry work.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work at heights if needed.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
